History
Caernarfon Riding Club
Caernarfonshire riding is the oldest riding club in the Gwynedd area. The club was founded in the early 1970’s by Renee Thomas and Marjory Wroe to encourage local riders, to meet up and compete against each other in a friendly and competitive atmosphere. Until recently Marjory still sat on the the riding club committee and even now takes an active interest in the club.
Since its formation CRC has grown and strengthened by maintaining and encouraged new members. In an ever-changing equestrian world, the club has strived to continuously adapted to changes in trends and new disciplines by providing a variety of activities so all can enjoy. With the help and continued support of our present and future members, volunteers and committee’s lets continue to write our clubs history.

What Makes Use Different
The club is based in Caernarfon and surrounding areas although some members travel from further afield such as Anglesey, the Llyn peninsula and Conwy areas. We accommodate all members from juniors to seniors and all levels and abilities from those just starting there riding club journey to those more experienced and competitive riders. Our club’s aim is to provide a variety of opportunities for members to spend time with their horses, developing skills, confidence and ability in a supportive and encouraging environment all whilst having fun.
